It enables students by letting their creative minds apply the knowledge they learn in the classrooms to problem solving, developing and designing their ideas, and then building models to test their ideas.

Supporting STEAM Curriculum in Your School

  • LOCKIT workbenches have been designed and manufactured with STEAM in mind.
  • The workbenches are delivered direct to schools pre-assembled, ready to use!
  • Mitre 10 have recommended the selection of tools which are supplied with the workbenches and are delivered direct to your school.
  • LOCKIT recommends Mitre 10 Mega supply any additional tools and consumables for your STEAM projects.
  • LOCKIT have two workbench/tool kit packages available;
  •      The Junior 690, specifically for students in years 1 – 7, only $185 * per month, and
  •      The Senior 890, specifically for students in years 8 – 10, only $225 * per month.
  • The LOCKIT workbench and Mitre 10 MEGA tool kit can be financed by Equico Education Leasing on a lease-to-own facility over a maximum of three years.
